Our approach to teaching has been carefully developed through years of research to ensure that your child will gain the best quality tuition possible. We employ only highly experienced, qualified teachers who share our philosophy.
A tailored approach
We appreciate that every child is different. Before tuition begins, each pupil is carefully assessed using a combination of computer and manual tests, which provides us with a 'blue print' of his or her ability. This then enables us to produce a unique learning path, meticulously tailored to their specific needs, both in the content of the material and the method by which it is taught.
Types of Tuition
We offer two main types of tuition: Book based and Computer based. In most cases we find that a combination of both computer technology and traditional teaching achieve a balanced and highly effective method of learning.
Book based - using textbooks, worksheets and teaching aids. This tuition is undertaken in groups of 4, 2 or individual.
Computer based - using an interactive computer learning system in groups of 4 with each pupil having exclusive use of a computer. This includes some book based activities for dexterity and variation, as well as more traditional educational aids. We recognise the importance of combining the use of computers with direct teacher input so that your child receives the advantages of both methods.
No previous computer skills are necessary, as these are all taught prior to tuition.
